The 25-year-old started strong but started to hit a skid around Week 3. This bottomed out after a difficult outing against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5, where he tossed three interceptions in a 17-13 loss.

That game proved to be a pivotal moment for Love, as he recently acknowledged that he was "hesitating a little too much" during that loss.

think my whole mindset kind of switched," Love says, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. "

Love said that the Raiders performance helped him rebound after a tough outing in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and that he knew he could rebound once again.

Early on in that [Steelers] game, I started really feeling that, started playing well," Love said, per Breer. "We got in the two-minute situation toward the end where there was a lot of good

Love would finish his first season as a starter with 4,159 passing yards and 32 touchdowns. He only tossed 11 interceptions and led the Packers to a 9-8 record, a playoff berth and a Wild Card win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Love would translate this success into a mega contract extension for four years at $220 million.

Now, he looks to help steer Green Bay to another strong season and a chance to reclaim glory over the NFC North.

That will not be an easy task. The Detroit Lions are returning the core from 2023's division-winning squad and the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings just added promising quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Competition will be fierce and Love will need to take another step forward for Green Bay to reach new heights.
