Hannah Green is gearing up for an intense battle at the US Open in Pennsylvania, targeting world No.1 Nelly Korda.

Two weeks after narrowly losing to Korda at the Americas Open, Green is ready to compete again at Lancaster Country Club.

With two LPGA Tour wins in 2024, Green feels at her peak, aiming to challenge Korda for the title.

The US Open carries a record $12 million purse, with Green leading a six-strong Australian contingent.

I feel like this is the best form I've come into a major," says Green, who is content with Korda in the spotlight.

A delayed start to the year and focused preparation have fueled Green’s success.

Steph Kyriacou praises Green's calm temperament as key to her success: "She's the most chilled person I've met."

Green will play the first two rounds with Brooke Henderson and Yuka Saso. Other Australian contenders include Minjee Lee.
