The recall impacts retail locations in Alabama, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, and West Virginia.
Inorganic arsenic is a known carcinogen that can cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences. Vulnerable groups like children and pregnant women are at higher risk.
Symptoms include numbness, tingling, weakness, stomach issues, skin problems, and increased risk of cancer.
If you have purchased the recalled apple juice, do not consume it. Return it to Walmart for a full refund.
