Maryland-based Totally Cool Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of multiple ice cream products nationwide.

The recall was triggered by potential contamination with the Listeria monocytogenes bacterium, identified during FDA testing.

The FDA’s classification specifically affects products under the Dolcezza brand, among others.

The recall initially began in late June, impacting a wide range of ice cream brands produced by Totally Cool Inc.

The FDA has now provided a risk classification to better inform consumers about the severity of the potential contamination.

The recall spans across the United States, affecting numerous retail locations where the ice cream products were sold.

Consumers are urged to check their freezers for affected products and avoid consuming any recalled ice cream.

If you have any of the recalled ice cream, return it to the place of purchase for a refund or dispose of it safely.
